El Torito

Average overall impression. Came in today for the great happy hour I had heard about. Bar service was spot on and very quick. Kitchen/food was hit and miss. Took an excessive long time to be served my appetizer. And then again to take my dinner order. Happily the bar was serving their house margaritas quickly.

Food does not taste as good as the pictures look, to much condiments and spices. Short on food runners, food takes forever to get to the table. Good waitressing service.

The Service: The service is attentive. Great customer service! All the staffs are very professional.The Food:Cilantro Cucumber Skinny Margarita is my new favorite drink now!! Super refreshing~NEW Seasonal Special menu~Sirloin Crispy Cheese Taco - two huge tacos grilled with cheese and filled with sirloin, onion and bell peppers.Sirloin Steak Fajitas - OMG!! The steak is super tender!!! Lots of bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. Topped with chimichurri sauce. LOVE the roasted corn on the side! Mole Verde Chicken Enchiladas - sauteed chicken, onions and Padilla peppers with cheese and creamy mole Verde sauce, topped with pickled onions.Can't end the meal without desserts....Mudd Pie is my favorite! Delicious chocolate cookie crumb crust, layered with premium coffee and chocolate ice cream. Don't even try to finish it by yourself? SHARE~ it is huge!!!The Parking: Plaza parking lot. Lots of parking spots.

We had a big group, unfortunately the cheese was not melted in the enchiladas, the onion and bell peppers were not cooked all the way, why was there half cooked potatoes in the chicken fajitas fruit was not ripe. We have eaten here before and it was good. Unfortunately tonight was not a good night

Great happy hour everyday from 3-9pm for $6 margaritas. The food was quite tasty as well. My only complaint is that my friends and I were there for a catch up over a couple hours and it felt like the waitress was trying to pressure us to leave, even after we had only ordered $80 in food/drinks, she would come over to the table every 15-20min and ask if we needed the check. The place was really lovey other than that though!

I ordered from doordash. Great portion size. Love that the chicken tacos are made with chicken breast.

Not overly crowded but we were there early. They have changed their bar area to be more open and I guess more of a modern era, seems a little too noisy for me but that might be why most people go to bars right. I got their new revamped grilled chicken taco salad and was really impressed with it, it filled me up almost too full. Just enough room for their banana desert which was great. Overall good experience

I haven't been here on awhile and it was great to come here for dinner. We had great service and the food was delicious. The people on the booth behind us let their little girl run all over and climb in empty booths, but other than that, it was great. I got a 1 item combo with a taco. So good! This place is clean. The food is great. The service was great. We will definitely be back!

What can I say, this is the best place for a lunch buffet. They have tacos with handmade tortillas and offer 3 types of meat. Chicken, steak, and carnitas! Worth it just for the unlimited tacos but then they have a lot of other great items to choose from!

🌮Taco Tuesday! The handmade tortillas are on point. Asada is nothing to write home about. The chorizo is mushy. The barbacoa 🌮 is the way to go. Didn't try the 🐔. Happy hour margaritas🍹are small. $6 not worth it. Service was quick and friendly.

We hadn't been to an El Torito in years, but we're glad we decided to go. The menu options were great and the service was prompt and courteous. Despite saying that there were renovations ongoing, which we didn't see at all, the ambience was perfect.

Love El Torito for the Sunday Brunch! It sucks that so many are closing down, but I'm glad that this one is still open. Food was delicious and a good variety. Love the taco and omelette bar. Service and ambience were also very good at this location and I liked that everything was clean. Would highly recommend.

Very good food ans service

I spent 70$ for a disappointing take out order. I’ve never complained about my food because I didn’t want to be “That person!” But right now I am. I had gotten shrimp fajitas and the portion size was super small! The bell peppers were not cooked right and were super crunchy. When I open the beans instantly it smelled super bad. Also the guacamole that they gave me tasted and looked like it already expired. I tasted them and it tasted like they were sitting out for along time. When I called to let them know. The manager Megan H. picked up and was just rude and answering me in a passive aggressive tone. She did tell me she would give me a credit but why would I want that seeing as they will most likely do it again. This is very disappointing seeing as things are crazy now and day. They are not a busy restaurant at this time so things like this really shouldn’t be happing. I’ve been here twice and been disappointed both times.

The food was warm to hot and plenty deserts and selections of food. Courteous waitors and help. My food was darn delicious for the first time at an El Toritos!!! I loved it💃💃💃😀

Tons of menu items to choose from! Many mexican classics and also some of their specials! Very large portions, you could pretty much have one meal per two people and not go hungry. Very tasty, food came pretty fast and was very fresh and hot. Would recommend!

I was at the Buffet the food was delicious 😋 and there was so much to choose from the omlet chef was great you need or want a good Buffet on Sunday El Torito Anaheim is a place to go.

Fantastic Sunday brunch. It goes till 2pm and the food is terrific.

I love coming here, is the first valentines day I celebrated with my now husband so it brings an emotional value asides from the service and the food. Newly renovated bar area, good drinks, good chips and salsa and overall, fast service.

We finally made it to the lunch buffet, it's 11 to 2 Monday thru Friday. They have someone making hand made tortillas for tacos with beef, chicken & pork. Pots of rich stews, salads, soup & dessert. The lunch buffet seems a little smaller than the Sunday brunch. Food has always been tasty and the staff is nice.

Their weekday lunch buffet is a good value and really tasty, too.

This location must be under new management. We had a new waiter in training which wasn't really a bad thing he was a little slow which is expected. They took one of my favorite drinks off the menu which was a blue butter fly margarita and that was my main purpose for going to this particular location. The waiter did fix my drink at no extra charge. Giving this review a four star is being lenient.

From AZ and was visiting a friend near Disneyland and landed upon this place. Chips and salsa were delicious and the service was great. Wasn't very busy on Tuesday and had a good table with our 4 and 6 yr old in a booth. Tried the banana dessert and was very good. Would recommend to anyone in the area to try for drinks, dinner, and dessert.

Super packed for brunch on Sunday! Definitely a loud and crowded atmosphere. The brunch buffet is so delicious we probably left 10 pounds heavier lol. The brunch comes with bottomless mimosas. The waiter we had was awesome and funny. Definitely worth the wait and worth the money! Looking for one near me now!

Always enjoy el torito but last night couldn't stop coughing. Wherever they were cooking was very strong

Sunday brunch was amazing. The food was great - good selection and tasty! I don't know if this happens every Sunday, but we had a live mariachi band the one around to play at all the tables. They were great!

The food is delish and the service is great. So fun music dancing and Cadillac Margaritas , tacos. Oh my gosh , Luis my server just brought me a flan that melts in your mouth . So yummy 😍😋 you got to try all of it. The manager Veronica came by to say hello , I recommend this El Toronto to all you fun ,hungry, peeps.

I've become more of a regular here. This place is always good for a happy hour. Their selection is pretty reasonable. I really love the sliders and sopes. It's not the greatest Mexican place you'll eat, but I must say they have definitely stepped up their game recently from mediocre to pretty good. Especially for their Taco Tuesday. The tacos are more than a dollar but their homemade tortillas are actually delicious. And the taco bar selection has grown to lots of great salsas and toppings.Taco Tuesday is the best time to go because you can self serve their greatest creation, the corn cake. It's so delicious that I wouldn't stop eating it unless someone told me not to.

Truly excellent. Great food, authentic old Mexico decor, good service. If you're in the area, do stop by. You won't regret it.
